What is Advík?

Since 2006, Advík has been a festival focused on Japan, its culture, pop culture, and related phenomena. You can look forward to numerous lectures on interesting topics, workshops, demonstrations of martial arts, traditional and modern dances, and more. And if nothing in the program catches your interest, you can always enjoy a cup of good tea, play a board game, PC or console game, or experience another world in virtual reality.

Above all, Advík is a gathering of otaku, a place to enjoy the entire event in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

HOW TO GET THERE

Use the metro C line to get Pankrac station, Cubex is right next to station exit.

If you need to get Prague, both bus terminal at Florenc and main train station are located on the C line, so you can simply take the Metro from there.

VENUES OPENING TIME

On Thursday the Venue will open to public on 16.00.

On Sunday we will close at 15.30.

Each other day the venue is open from 9.30 to 22.00. On Fri and Sat, we can extend the time based on general mood.

On Thursday we will have preregistration open from 10 to 14, so you can get your wristband and skip the line later on.

WEAPON POLICY

Weapons are strictly prohibited. Cosplay props have to be approved by the staff. For approval, cold weapons have to blunt and softened, airsoft weapon need to have magazines and batteries removed and sealed. When in doubt, shoot us a message.

Also keep in mind that the venue is in office buillding and shopping mall is nearby, with a lot of 'normies' around, so please don't show even fake weapons to the public.
