COSTUME

•  The Roleplay Show does not judge costume craftsmanship; however, a visually appealing costume (whether bought or handmade) contributes to the overall impression of the performance.

•  If you want to show the judges details of your costume-making process, you may bring printed documentation. This may help in the case of a tie, but does not automatically add points.

•  It is allowed to participate with a costume previously used in another competition, as long as it was not a winning costume (top 3 places selected by judges). Winners of audience awards or side awards may still participate.

•  Costumes may not contain sharp objects, metal weapons, airsoft weapons, or functional firearms/projectile weapons.

•  The costume and performance must take into account that minors may be in the audience and must not be offensive or contain symbols promoting hatred.

•  The costume must be based on an officially published source material – humanoid versions of animal or non-human characters are allowed.

•  Contestants must specify which exact version of the character the costume represents and provide reference images for comparison.

•  Contestants must be able to move safely in the costume through narrow spaces, on stairs, and onto the stage.

PROCESS

•  Technical rehearsal will take place Sunday morning (further details will be provided directly to contestants).

•  Attendance at the technical rehearsal at the assigned time is mandatory (otherwise participation in the competition will not be possible).

•  Failure to follow scheduled times may result in disqualification.

•  It is not necessary to wear the competition costume during the technical rehearsal.

PERFORMANCE

•  Contestants must include audio/video accompaniment in their performance; use of a screen and lights is possible.

•  Performance length:

o  1–4 minutes for individuals,

o  3–7 minutes for groups.

•  Contestants may prepare stage props, provided each piece can be carried by one person (max. 10 kg, reasonable dimensions). Stage setup and cleanup may not exceed 30 seconds. For special requests regarding props, contact ayumi@advik.cz

•  Contestants may leave the stage during the performance and may also have their own stage ninja (helper who can move props and is not considered a contestant).

•  Microphones are not allowed during performances.

•  Tables and chairs can be borrowed. (In case of high demand, contestants may need to share tables with others.)

•  Contestants must notify organizers in advance if they wish to borrow tables or chairs by emailing ayumi@advik.cz

•  It is forbidden to spill liquids on stage, dirty the stage in any way, scatter confetti, or use open fire. If you are unsure about using a certain effect, contact the organizers first.

SKITS AFTER THE PERFORMANCE

•  After the performance, there will be a short skit with the host. The script should be sent to ayumi@advik.cz

•  If you need help with the skit or are unsure about something, contact the host on Instagram: ayumi_cosplay_
